Call for Papers: History and Cultural Representations of Human Remains Conferences (Toulouse, Paris, London, various dates 2013; Deadline, 1 September 2012)
This series of 3 interdisciplinary conferences will examine the relationship between anatomical knowledge and practice and their cultural representations so as to offer an overview of the cultural reception of the exhibition of human remains. The conferences are aimed at scholars from a variety of medical humanities disciplines.

- Anatomic Models at the Academy of Medicine, Paris, on 4 April, 2013
- Exhibiting Human Remains at the Hunterian Museum, London, on 4 June, 2013

Deadline for submissions (all conferences) : September 1, 2012. Contributors will be notified that their proposal has been accepted by mid-October 2012.
