Biography:
Instrument maker in Vienna, ca 1862-1889. He produced top quality surgical instruments. His instruments were bought by American instrument sellers Otto and Reynders: in the 1870s they became an agent for Josef Leiter of Vienna. From Leiter they imported hypodermic syringes, transfusion apparatus, laryngoscopes, and other instruments.

Collection: Museum Boerhaave Leiden (obstetrician instruments and an instrument catalogue).
