Nicolai was a globe maker in Lyon and Avignon, ca 1573-1613. (Lyon: 1603, Avignon: 1626). Published a book with Johannes Oterschaden: 'Johannes Oterschaden & Guilaume Nicolai, Nova et entegra universi... Lugduni 1603'.
